“You’re going to be trouble, aren’t you, Sweetheart?”
Alesha Campbell loves her island home in Southeast Alaska, but after a sudden break up with her egotistical boyfriend, she’d feared she might not find a husband until she met Navy SEAL Zayden Wellesley. The widowed Commander extricated her from a sticky situation and stole her heart. Now he has returned to the island with three unexpected surprises.
The Navy offers Commander Zayden Wellesley the career opportunity of a lifetime. He accepts. On a recon trip to Alaska, he meets the woman he never knew he needed and sets about wooing her. Things are going well over the short trip except for one little snag: He neglected to inform her he had roommates.
Zed planned to tell Alli before she found out on her own; however, his roommates had other ideas. And Alli is not happy.
Can Zayden save his career and his budding relationship without upsetting the delicate balance he was already maintaining?
She looked longingly at him and ran her finger across his chest. “Zayden…” she whimpered.
“I know, sweetheart, I need it too.” He reached to pull her leggings and underwear off. “Straddle me.” He positioned her over his powerful thighs facing him.
Alli had no problem complying with this request. She slid her legs apart and settled into position. It was a little embarrassing, but she craved his touch more than she felt awkward. Zed lightly tapped her puffy labia, playing with her sensitive bits.
“So wet and ready for me. Such a sexy girl. You know I always ache for you. I don’t think my cock has been at ease since I met you.”
Going to work rubbing her clit, he placed one rough finger and then two inside her sheath. He brought his arousal coated fingers to her bottom, easing his legs apart enough to open her cheeks wider so he could tease the muscle ring there. Alli had had no one touch her there before Zed, and she couldn’t believe how it turned her on. She held as still as she could to encourage more play. When he didn’t breach her opening, she groaned her frustration. He patted her hot wet center, and the sting had her suck in air noisily.
“My time, baby.”
Alli couldn’t believe how amazing the bottom sensations were and how tightly sprung it made her.
“You’re awfully greedy for a woman who just barely skirted having her ass addressed for her misbehavior.”
He swatted her butt twice, and she made a new round of desperate whimpers.
“Zed, please.”
Placing Alli on her feet, Zed stood. He flipped her over the arm of her sofa and scolded, “Don’t move.”
The fast rasp of his zipper as it raced down its track heightened her awareness. She heard the belt buckle rattle as she took the belt off. Her core twitched, her bottom followed suit.
“What did I say to you?”
“Sorry, sorry, I can’t help it.”
She heard the leather cut through the air, causing a breeze. “Ahh. Okay, I’m trying.”
Warm hands landed on her hips, holding her steady, caressing her ass. Alli wiggled her bottom in her eagerness. He swatted her ass again, leaving a burn that heated her up more.
“You just have to be an imp, don’t you? I think it’s in your DNA.”
“How did you guess?”
He landed an ouchy, stinging stripe down but then tossed his belt to the floor. His hands rubbed the sting and intensified it.
When Zed hesitated, Alli groaned her frustration. “Zayden.”
Her desperate attempt at pointing a neon sign over her dark entrance encouraged Zayden to take it. Her cream was scooped up, and her entrance was coated as was his cock. He breached Alli’s bottom hole, piercing deep down to her core, his ball bouncing off her ass.

An abusive childhood and an accident in his teens left stallion-shifter, Malcolm Patterson, with a distrust for his father and a lot of holes in his memory. When his dad passes away, Malcolm returns to Horse Mountain to fulfill his obligation to settle his old man’s affairs but finds the shifter community’s near hero-worship of the late doctor disquieting. He’s further shaken to meet a curvy beauty at the funeral who makes his heart gallop and his primal instincts take over.
Suki Marks has been in love with handsome and noble Malcolm Patterson ever since he saved her from bullies who called her an abomination when she was ten. He was the first person to be straight with her about the reasons some people shunned her family and he was quick to debunk those prejudices as the ignorant folktales and stupid superstitions they were. Even after Malcolm graduated high school and left town, she couldn’t forget him, but becoming Doctor Patterson’s live-in nurse in his last year of life was a coincidence. She never expected to be named in the wealthy physician’s will.
Malcolm assumed he’d be disinherited, but even from the after-life, his father continues to turn the knife, using his will to set up an elaborate scheme to taint Malcolm’s feelings for the woman who might be his fated mate. To make matters worse, a dangerous shifter-purist movement is brewing among a small segment of the Horse Mountain Clan, and they’re determined to prevent Suki from passing on her genes to a new generation. Will Malcolm be able to work through his past in time to secure his and Suki’s future?
Warning: Saving Suki is a smoking hot romance with graphic, put-you-in-the-moment love scenes. If you’re offended by sexual language, you might want to consider another book. The book can stand alone without reading the others in the series, but reading Horse Mountain Shifters 1-3, will add to the enjoyment of the experience.

A sorrowful expression crossed her face and he knew he’d already said too much about his unusual upbringing. As he contemplated a way to lighten the mood again, she found the answer without saying a word, reaching up to her shoulder and placing her hand over his. A squeezing sensation in his chest complimented the haze rolling over his rationality. So many mixed emotions vexed him since his return, especially the anger and regret he’d tried his best to lock away. Her tiny gesture and light touch sent all the pain scurrying. Warmth bloomed over his knuckles and radiated up his arm, gaining intensity and burning the hottest across his torso.
“You’re putting on a brave face, but how are you really holding up?”
Her words pricked at his brain as he breathed in her sumptuous fragrance. “Umm…honestly, if I try to think about my father being gone forever, I feel a bit numb.” As his own words hung in the air, an odd, sour sensation stirred in his stomach. Why the hell did I tell her that? He hated thinking about his dad. Imagining how things could have been if they’d reconciled seemed useless since he’d never admitted he’d always wanted the old buzzard’s love. He sure as hell didn’t want to talk about his contradictory emotions on the subject, but even still he could hear his stupid mouth dropping more of his secrets like a huge drain sending washed-away filth out of the shower. “Things were never good between us and during the entire funeral, I felt like a fraud.”
“The parent-child relationship is often a complicated one.” She rested her head on his shoulder while tucking herself in closer to his side, another comforting gesture that somehow had him ready to spill his guts to this woman he barely knew.
“No kidding. I know I’m supposed to be devastated…I can’t seem to muster up much feeling on his passing at all.” Why, why, why! Why can’t I keep my big trap shut around her? She’s going to think I’m a fucking sociopath.
“Perhaps you will when the shock wears off a little.”
“Maybe, but I doubt it. I know it sounds bad, but my dad wasn’t the man that all those people today thought he was. If they knew half of what he was really like…Shit, I must sound like a huge asshole. I’m sorry. I don’t even know why I’m telling you this stuff.”
She patted his knee. “Because you need to talk to someone and I’m here.”
Wrong! Wrong! If I wanted to dredge up all this bullshit until I choke on it, I’d be talking to Dash and Mama Carol; they know the real deal.
Part of him wanted to call it a night if only to end the uncomfortable conversation, but his body wouldn’t cooperate. His heart raced as he swallowed the lump in his throat. Normally, the horse inside him would have been ready to bolt, but at this moment, the damn thing was more like a mule, digging its hooves in and refusing to budge.
“It’s not like I’m happy he’s gone. It’s more like I can’t force myself to feel sad about it.”

Daddy’s Game is the third in the dark and suspenseful series from Amazon bestselling author, Felicity Brandon. Dark adult content is included–you have been warned…
He inhaled, wrestling the first pink ribbon into a bow in her hair. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Jared admonished himself. He should have never asked the question aloud. He should have never have engaged her that way. It didn’t matter what she meant, what mattered was she did as she was told.
“It means I never know what to do to make you happy.” She sounded exasperated, tugging her head away from his hands, which were still attempting to arrange the ribbon. “Once moment you want to talk to me, the next you want me silent. One minute you’re angry, the next you’re…” She hesitated, her brow knitting.
“I’m what?”
He had to physically suppress the anger which pulsed through his body at her reply. The nerve of the woman—criticizing him when she was the one causing all of the issues. Couldn’t she see by now what he was trying to achieve? A routine that would finally bring them both pleasure—a new life for both of them.
“I don’t know.”
In her reflection, Jared saw emotion flare in her eyes, though he couldn’t say if it was fear, fury, or frustration.
“Tender?” she spat the word out. “Sometimes, it seems as though you love me, and other times like you can’t stand the sight of me!”
Jared paused at that. It was a response he hadn’t been anticipating.
“That’s how it is, baby,” he concurred, pulling at the other side of her hair roughly as he bundled it together for the remaining ribbon. “That’s how you make Daddy feel.”
“So, it’s my fault?” Her eyes widened with disgust. He stared at her for a long moment in the mirror, his fingers pausing the infuriating task at her hair. “I make you feel this way?”
“Of course, it’s you.”
Jared blinked in disbelief. Why was he having this conversation? Why was he even entertaining it? Yet some part of him seemed to need the catharsis—to say what needed to be said, to get it all out there before he came down on her like a ton of bricks again.
“It’s always been you, Sophie.”
He forced the second piece of ribbon into place, discarding the hairbrush onto the bed before assessing his handiwork. Sophie was right about one thing—his hairdressing abilities were seriously lacking, and her hair hung in untidy, wonky pigtails on either side of her head.
“Everything I’ve done, I’ve done for you.”
Hadn’t he told her this before?
“The times you messaged me late at night when your useless fucking husband had left you all alone. I replied to you. I returned those messages. Didn’t I?”
Her brown gaze swam with feeling. “Yes,” she whispered. “Yes, Daddy.”
“For you, Sophie.” Their gazes locked in the mirror. “I did that for you.”
Sophie’s brow furrowed, and she looked away until he snaked his hands around her body, his palms massaging her wonderful, exposed tits. Even after nearly two days, he wasn’t used to having her naked all the time. He doubted he’d ever be used to it.
“The plan I created to get to you, to get into your home. Hiring the van, getting my friends on board.” He waited until her eyes flitted back to his before he continued. “All for you, little girl.”
She nibbled her lower lip, her expression conveying the idea she didn’t quite agree with his argument, but that was irrelevant. It appeared Sophie would never agree and would just have to learn to concede instead.
“And this place.” Jared pressed his body against her nudity, his arms tightening around her. “Everything I did to make this an inviting place for you, Sophie. All of the modifications I made. The playpen, the chair in the kitchen, and your room, Sophie—I decorated the whole damn place for you, baby girl.” Emotion spiked in his voice at the memory of the effort.
“All. For. You.” He sighed into her hair. “I yield for no one, yet I turn my whole world upside down for you.”

A long silence follows my little outburst. He doesn’t move, but I can feel his eyes on me. Watching, assessing. I wait for his next attack.
Instead, “He raped you? Kenny?” The question is soft, gentle.
I nod. “Yes. Twice.”
“Did you report it to the police?”
Ah, here we go. “No.”
“Why not?”
“I lived with him, slept with him, had sex with him regularly. Who’d have believed me that once or twice it was against my will? And… I was scared of him.”
He nods, doesn’t press me further, seems to accept this explanation. “I knew he was a vicious git. I saw the way he treated you that night. I just didn’t realise… I understand now why you were afraid of Nathan and me when we came to your cottage.” He hesitates, his gaze softening. “I’m sorry for that, and for the way I spoke to you afterwards. I was insensitive and cruel. You are safe here, with me. I hope you can believe that.” He reaches out, tips my chin up with his fingers, gently raising my eyes to his.
I hold his gaze, assertive Ashley back on her soapbox. “Yes, I do believe that. But only because you don’t fancy me. I’m too scrawny, ‘not enough to go around’ I think you said.” The bitter sting of those cruel, dismissive words still bites. Hard. Without thinking about possible consequences I press my point. “And I’m not having any more of that from you either. No more insults, no more belittling me with your personal comments. I won’t let you make me feel small again. Just leave me be, and if you’ve nothing nice to say about me then keep your opinions to yourself, please.”
Gently cupping my chin with his palm, he holds my gaze, his gorgeous eyes now warm, tender almost. And I see respect starting to dawn there. At last, he speaks, his tone low, serious. A hint of esteem there, just maybe.
“Well said, Ashley. You’re right, and I apologise. For the things I said to you, back then and just now. I was rude, cruel, and what I said wasn’t true. The truth is, you’re so lovely you take my breath away—especially naked.” He smiles, probably at my astonished expression—nothing he could have said to me in response would have surprised me more than that. Lovely? Me? My mind’s still turning cartwheels as he continues. “I’m not apologising for finger-fucking you, though, because I did ask. Maybe a bit late, but still… And you seemed to like that bit as I recall. And I’m not apologising for stripping you and spanking you, although I know probably I should. Nathan certainly thinks so. Trouble is, I enjoyed that part too much to be genuinely sorry now. And if you’ve done the research that I suggested you do you might start to have some idea why I enjoyed it. And why you did too. Do you have any idea why, Ashley?”
I shake my head, bewildered, completely lost for words now. Enjoyed it? He hurt me, terrified me. But a quiet little voice at the back of my head is quick to point out what else he did, afterwards, and how powerfully I responded. And how much more he could have done to me as I lay there helpless on my bed, offering no further resistance. But he didn’t. And Tom doesn’t push his advantage now, just as he didn’t then, he simply leaves me be with my thoughts.
He drops his hand, but his emerald eyes are still holding mine. “I shouldn’t have threatened you again just now, even in fun. Forgive me?” His low tone seems sincere, contrite even.
I do believe he means it. He must have decided to take my continued silence as assent because suddenly he’s all business again, his booted feet hitting the flags with a heavy thud as he gets to his feet. “I need to get off. I’ll be back around one, I’ve a Skype meeting scheduled with a supplier so I’ll see you then. Make yourself at home, have a good look round, try to find everything you need but if you get stuck or need to know anything text me. Oh, and just leave the ironing. Okay?”
Stunned at my success, and the tangible shift in our relationship, I can only nod. Assertive Ashley definitely has her moments. He grabs his jacket from a hook on the back of the door and winks at me on his way out. “Have a nice day, Ashley.” He clicks his tongue and the two dogs trot after him. A few seconds later I hear the Land Rover fire up and drive off, and I’m alone in his huge old house.

Ready for a taste?
TRISHA slapped her cards on the table and gloated. “Read them and strip!”
“Ugh.” Tommy groaned as he peeled his shorts off and dropped them beside him. He was down to his underwear now.
Saliva swirled inside her mouth as her gaze clung to his rippling arm muscles, hard chest, and the hell of a bulge in his navy-blue briefs. She smacked her lips. Yum, yum, yum!I need some of that! Turning her attention to her other opponent, she lifted an eyebrow. “Ken, I think you need to pay up, too. What will it be? The shirt or your shorts?”
Ken answered wordlessly, pulling his shirt off over his head. As he raised his arms, the smoky intensity in his eyes bore into Trisha’s consciousness and threatened to melt her clothes right off her quivering body. She smiled, feasting on Ken’s sinewy, upper body like he was a prime cut of meat. His toned arms and shoulders framed his hard, well-built chest, showcasing his small, round, russet-colored nipples as they contrasted against his smooth, honey-tinged flesh. She pursed her lips, struggling to keep from coming undone as the image of her tongue gliding over his navel popped into her mind. Trisha sucked in her breath as she wrestled back control of her senses.
What luck! Ken losing to her was a near miracle, but she couldn’t expect him to focus on the game while they were hiding out from a big, bad hurricane. As she glanced toward Tommy, she gauged his reaction. Why does he look so pale all of a sudden? Something more than bad weather jitters was boiling under the surface between those two. Trisha held her tongue. Voicing her suspicions of discord without having any idea what had disrupted the balance between Yin and Yang, as she sometimes called the two, would be premature. Instead, she hid her concerns behind the long neck of a beer bottle, taking another swig. Ken gathered the cards to shuffle for another round. Trisha put aside her concerns to focus on her own game.
Following the death of her twin sister and the abuse of her sadistic ex-boyfriend, Lillian Gaines drove away from her home to flee her heart-wrenching grief. Exhausted, numb from sorrow, she drives into a snowstorm and ends up stranded on a Montana back road.
The last thing Doctor Mitchell Hoffstetter wanted was to put up a stranded motorist at his cabin, but seeing the bruises marring Lillian’s face stifles his irritation. He couldn’t help offering comfort when her grief kept her awake, and for all her sass and independence, she succumbed to his commands and touch without pause. They went their separate ways the next day unable to forget that one hour.
Mitchell soon discovers Lillian is living in the motel in town. He offers his garage apartment which leads to another opportunity to show she wasn’t as opposed to his dominance as she claimed. Lillian discovers a side of her she couldn’t control whenever Mitchell leveled one of those potent gazes her way and showed her ways of pleasure she never imagined she would embrace.
It takes a threat to Lillian’s life for Mitchell to admit his sassy, independent tenant and lover had found a way through his grief to his heart, but had they both waited too long to express their feelings or would he and their friends ride to her rescue in time for them to start over together?
This is book seven in the Cowboy Doms series but can be enjoyed independently.

That evening, Lillian started a new painting off a picture she’d taken of Mitchell’s cabin, and was still immersed in putting that scene on canvas late the next day, Friday afternoon. Something about the rustic abode with its backdrop of ice crystal-draped trees and plume of smoke traveling up into the gray sky appealed to her. Before getting stranded there with him, the closest she’d gotten to roughing it was when she and Liana spent a week at a Colorado ski resort, complete with their own private hot tub and an indoor pool. She was quite proud of herself for handling the tight, drafty quarters, limited hot water and basic meals so well, not to mention her autocratic but considerate rescuer. Those off the charts orgasms likely lessened the memory of how uncomfortable those few days were.
The heavy clomp of feet tromping up the side staircase reached her ears as she noticed the time. It ceased surprising her how fast the hours flew by unnoticed when she couldn’t pull herself away from her work.
Mitchell’s irritated voice followed a sharp rap on the door. “Lillian, I need to talk to you.”
Even annoyed his deep baritone could deliver that warm rush she had never experienced with another man, and that irked her. Striding to the door, she flung it open with a glare. A shiver went through her, but whether from the cold air or the swirling emotion turning his hazel eyes more brown than green, she wasn’t sure. Reminding herself this was his place and she was staying here for free, Lillian lightened her frown and stepped back to let him in.
“What’s up? Did I disobey some unspoken rule of tenancy?”
Mitchell brushed by her, his sheepskin coat flapping open to reveal he was still dressed in slacks and a button up shirt, the attire she’d seen him wearing every morning as he left for the clinic. The fact she couldn’t help glancing out the window at exactly 7:30 a.m. every day this past week was another deviation from her character that puzzled her.
He turned to face her as she closed the door, fisting his hands on his hips. “No, you reneged on our bargain.”
Puzzled, Lillian searched her memory and then recalled the appointment she was supposed to make at his clinic, realizing he was right. Oops. She shrugged and offered him a self-deprecating smile. “Not on purpose. I meant to, but I started a new painting and completely forgot.” Instead of forgiving her, Mitchell narrowed his eyes, his reply amusing her even as it sent a small thrill trickling through her veins.
“Someone should have taken you in hand years ago.”
I live in the Midwest with my husband and our dog, Oscar, a lovable Goldendoodle. I love dogs, enjoy spending time with my daughter, babysitting dogs and kids, reading and working puzzles. We have traveled extensively throughout the states, Canada and just once overseas, but I now prefer being a homebody. I worked for a while writing articles for a local magazine but soon found my interest in writing for myself peaking. My first books were strictly spanking erotica, but I slowly evolved to writing erotic spanking romance with a touch of suspense. My favorite genre to read is suspense.
