She can’t follow if you won’t lead

My friend, PK Corey, has a new book out for all who love to read about loving domestic discipline:

Returning to Us

by

PK Corey

Returning to Us - PK cover

What’s it all about?

After thirty-five years, Susan thought her marriage was over the morning after their last child’s wedding. Hal, her husband, said he needed to talk about something important. She knew it couldn’t be good. They rarely even spoke anymore. In the beginning they’d been so close, so passionate. Practicing domestic discipline had been a wonderful part of their lives—sometimes.

But over the years it had all drifted away, even when Susan asked for what she needed. He would occasionally give her a mild, sexy spanking, but the real discipline she craved was a thing of the past. Now, Hal suddenly wanted to talk about moving to Colorado to live in Corbin’s Bend, a community where spanking was not only accepted, but encouraged. Could this bring back the closeness and passion they’d once had? Could Susan trust that this time Hal would truly step up?

Mmm, this bite is delish… Taste!

Quincy waited until they both had a mug of coffee, then she sat at the table. She seemed to be waiting for Susan to speak. Finally, Susan said, “How have you been, Quincy?”

“I’m fine,” she stated. “However, it seems you’ve gone underground. I never see you out anymore. You’ve been here a while now. How are things going with you?”

“Fine with me too. I’m busy and haven’t been getting out as much, but everything’s fine,” Susan insisted.

Quincy didn’t look convinced, she looked concerned. Susan felt the urge to run. If Quincy said something kind or sweet, she would break down. She could feel the slight burning in her eyes, warning of tears.

No! she told herself fiercely. She sipped her coffee and forced a smile to her face.
Her mentor wasn’t having it. “Please tell me what’s bothering you. Maybe I can help.”

“Nothing’s wrong. Hal’s very happy. He’s…”

“I didn’t ask about Hal. I asked about you.”

It wasn’t going to work. She wasn’t going to be able to hold the tears back.

“Hal is happy. Corbin’s Bend is wonderful. It’s full of spankos, fun for all. It’s fucking awesome!” Susan concluded, bursting into tears.

Quincy said nothing. She reached for a box of tissues and placed it on the table and let Susan cry.

Finally, Susan spoke again. “I wish we’d never come here. I thought he’d stick to it with all these spanking role models. But it’s just the same, except now everyone else has what I want. It’s worse than being alone with my needs.”

“Has Hal stopped spanking you?”

“Oh no, he spanks me every time he wants sex.”

Quincy said nothing, letting the words hang in the air.

“You know the outside world would view us all as odd balls, Quincy. And now I feel like the odd ball within the group. Most women here would love what I have. I only get spanked for fun or for sex. Who wouldn’t love that?” Susan snapped.

“You,” Quincy answered.

About PK Corey

After spending thirty-six years in two careers I liked just fine, I’ve finally found my dream career as a writer. I’ve been happily married for thirty-five-years and my sweet husband has gotten used to the unique experience of living with a writer. He is very encouraging and an excellent editor when he’s pressed into service.

I’ve been intrigued by spanking stories since before I first saw Ricky spank Lucy. Stories of this nature were hard to come by before the Internet and the ones I found were a little harsh on discipline and very much lacking in love. So, I made up my own stories and enjoyed these in my head for years. I finally began writing them down. Although the lovely women in my stories are spanked often, the love between them and their men takes top priority.

My Cassie’s Space series shows a mature couple who are deeply in love. Despite loving Cassie’s free-spirited ways, Tom is determined to keep her safe, even if it takes a trip over his knee. And with her friend Sue by her side and all they get into, a trip over his knee is very likely. My new series, Cal’s Law, is about a younger couple. Though they come from very different backgrounds, love and discipline draw them together.

I love my husband, my kids, my cats, reading, writing and hearing from my readers. You can contact me at pk.corey@yahoo.com

January thoughts…

This blog is about books. HA HA. Okay, so no surprise there. I have had a love affair with books for as long as I can remember. I read early, encouraged by my book loving mother. I found that there was a whole world to be found, many worlds in fact, between the pages of a book. Now we have electronic books, and audio books, and I love a good story no matter how it is presented, but I will always have a soft spot for picking up a physical book and reading it.

As I sit here, in my pajama’s (don’t hate me), contemplating a new year, I think of the books I have written and those I have read. I have learned that writing even one book is not an easy feat, no matter how easy it might seem. I appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears that goes into every book more than ever. And it makes me love them even more intensely. I write romance but I read all genres. Well, nearly all. Sorry, horror is just not my thing…  but so many others are.

So, let me challenge you to try a new book, a new genre, a new author, today. You never know, you could be embarking on the most rewarding adventure of your life. Come back and tell me about your adventure, no matter how it turned out.

So let me start you off, my fellow romance lovers… I’ll try to continue sending you on forages into my chaotic mind.

I spank for naughty… Freeing Molly

Time for the cover reveal for book 2 of Cián and Molly’s story.

Freeing Molly

Freeing Mollyusat

Molly has lost her way and Cián must restore their balance.

Things aren’t right with Molly, even after a tragedy hits the couple and it is dealt with on the surface, it dominates her days and nights. She deals with it in an unfortunate way but Cián takes over and things begin to level out again. But while Cián seems to be alright with the progression of things, Molly isn’t. She is still sad, doesn’t know where to put her feelings or how to cope with them.

And then, there’s the guilt. Guilt that Cián has been through every miserable step with her and she shut him out. Cián has forgiven her, its easy for a man who lives a domestic discipline lifestyle but not easy for his newly inducted fiancé. No, finding absolution is difficult and the road is a painful one for Molly.

Growth is all about the process. That is what Cián is telling himself. That process includes, patience, love, careful timing, open heart, open mind, and more patience. And allowing others into their lives enough to help Molly smile again. What it isn’t is accepting of the way things are and Cián isn’t anything if he isn’t a true O’Connor son.

Once Cián finds his Molly, he will do whatever it takes to get her through her confused pain except let her work it out alone. He calls in his relatives, and while there are some bumpy spots, and he doesn’t always make the best choices, he has an end game and nothing is going to get in the way of winning. He has his unwavering eye on the prize and he will use whatever means necessary to gain that prize, Molly, whole again.

Here is a little taste of what lies ahead.

PG-13

Molly was stubborn and right now she was also angry that she wasn’t getting her way although her body visibly relaxed when he said he wasn’t letting her go. It was a dangerous combination. Cián didn’t want to push too hard too fast, but she was begging for a spanking by her actions. He was going to try again. Taking a deep breath, Cián looked straight into Molly’s petulant face.

“Molly, you are not living in this… h…”

“Just say it! Hell hole. Well I don’t care what you, or my brothers say. People leave me alone here.” She looked at Cián pointedly. “Until today, that is.”

“Right.”

Cián looked around the one room decorated in modern slum and decided that other than her bag, there was nothing she needed from the space. He was trying hard not to give her what she was asking for even though every instinct inside told him to grab the hairbrush on the box she used for a dresser.

He might have been the youngest O’Connor child, but he knew exactly how to take care of his girl. She was dealing with so much that his lover side was saying ‘protect don’t spank.’ His Dom side, not so much. Cián struggled to focus and isolate his gentler side. He could try to be Shane right now as he had done before, to calm down but even Shane would have yanked her sassy ass out as fast as he could, while smoking her backside at the same time. He’d seen Andrew calmly roast Caoimhe’s butt without breaking a sweat when she had made a choice out of obstinance, not intelligence.

Grabbing Molly and her bag, he shouldered her midriff and balanced her weight as he turned to leave the room. “Fuck off, O’Connor.”

“Oh, hell no,” growled Cián. “That was what I needed to hear leanbh.

“I’m not your baby.”

“You’re hurting, not rational, and you’re mine. I’m taking over.”

His gentler side was gone. He was going to polish that sassy ass until it shined a glowing ruby red. Then they would start again, from the beginning if necessary. He let his hand land on her skinny behind and missed the round, plumpness he loved. He was satisfied when he heard her cry out in the first round of six. There were tears by the second. Yeah, she was ready.

He had her in the car fast, but before he walked out, he grabbed the hairbrush. “Is there anything you need from this room you cannot replace, aingeal?

“My important papers.” He turned with her still stationed over his shoulder.

“Where?”

She tried to get down, but he didn’t allow it. “Point.”

“I can…” He aimed to the center of her right southern cheek and the pop the hairbrush made sounded like order and control to Cián.

She screeched but pointed, and he retrieved the folder. “Anything else?”

“No. Yes, my box of keepsakes.” She pointed and without another word, he grabbed the little box. “That’s it,” she said with a whine.

He was relieved that she wasn’t demanding he leave her in this slum. It would take a while before the nightmares of what could have happened to her left him.

“Good. Say good-bye to Cheyenne, aingeal.”

Cián expected her to throw a fit and make him work for it but she lay quiet and sweet over his shoulder. He patted her bottom and decided he wouldn’t rub it; she was hoping he would assuage the sting he’d left. Let that memory be the last one of this dingy room.

First book in the Trilogy:                           Book three, Forever Molly, coming soon.

In Pursuit of Molly

In Pursuit of Molly

In Pursuit of Molly-Out Tomorrow

He’d waited long enough. It was now or never.

Molly Rasher had been obsessed with Cián O’Connor from the day she met the preoccupied veterinarian student. She was still dreaming of his toned body and serious demeanor when she finished college but he had only nodded and smiled in passing. With no further contact, it seemed her sexy dreams would have to find another star, until he walked into the clinic’s front door, reigniting her passions.

Cián was more than half-way through his training to be a veterinarian. Finally, he could afford to pursue his angel. Molly’s endearing, shy smile had tantalized him for almost two years and now the opportunity to be with her fell into his lap, he was going to grab it with both hands. He prayed she was ready for him because he’d learned if you wanted something bad enough, you held on tight until you got it. No matter the cost.

We are embarking on Thanksgiving week and you know what that means, Cian and Molly O’Connor book 1 of their Trilogy is just around the corner- Tomorrow in fact! But we have some business to handle before it all happens.

First, I wanted to remind you of some of my words in the O’Connor’s and in this trilogy.

Aingeal = Angel  It is Cian’s main endearment word for Molly.TheIn Pursit of Mollyone he calls her often.

The rest are words we have used before but a refresher course is appropriate, I think. Please remember there are three ways to pronounce some words in Ireland – dialects/regional ways if you will. Irish/English translate/pronounce

Excerpt 1 G

“Here’s your nurse.”

[Cian] He had evidently called the nurse when she began to wake up because the nice-looking caregiver brought in water and was a bit too cheerful. “I’m Robert. Now, how are you feeling?

“If I said Mack truck. Would that be enough of a descriptor?”

He chuckled. “Just what I expected to hear. Has your body guard told you what happened?”

“My?” She tried to smile but it hurt. “Got it. He is kind of handy and no, we haven’t gotten that far yet.”

“Okay, first tell me how much you remember.”

The nurse walked around taking readings, checking vitals, and monitoring machines. When he was done, he added another bag of fluids. “Are you still thinking? Can you remember anything?”

She opened her mouth but Cián stopped her from speaking and said, “Molly, you need to try to remember but don’t tell anyone until you speak to the sheriff. He should be the first one that you tell your memories to. They will never be as accurate as in the first retelling.”

“Sir, I understand you are her watchdog friend, and I appreciate your concern, but we need to know she hasn’t any amnesia.”

“And I know you do that by a few questions.” The tone brooked no arguments.

“Look, if you’re going to impede my job, you’re going to have to leave.”

Cián held onto Molly’s hand and stood up, showing his full height and build. Molly’s heart swelled. He was the most handsome man she had ever known. And big. She knew he came from a large family and if they were all this imposing when defied, the intimidation factor when they were together would be impressive. The factor would rise exponentially if in protective mode. She shivered at the picture her imagination created.

He’d been the center of her lust since that first time she met him. This was a side of Cián she’d only had an inkling of before today. He was protecting her from whatever he thought was a threat, just as he’d promised. She would be content to sit back and let her man take care of her, as he expected.

“Robert, just a little background on me,” Cián began. “I have a large immediate family with friends as close as family. They include several physicians, a sheriff, a policeman, a nurse, a handful of lawyers, a federal agent, a trauma therapist, a psychologist, and a whole slew of ranchers who are all volunteer firemen. I’m a veterinarian. As you can see, I am intelligent and do understand this issue. How about we try this again. She will do the standard orientation questions, but any details of her experience will first be heard by law enforcement.”

The look on the nurse’s face told the story of his thoughts. Cián wasn’t sure, but he thought the man narrowed his eyes. Not the standard response for a nurse who shouldn’t take offense to a patient not disclosing the events prior to informing law enforcement. In fact, his sisters would have stopped the patient from speaking until they had the sheriff’s department in the room. No, he was right in stopping the disclosure and might even mention the oddity to the deputies.

Two men in uniform appeared at the door as Molly patted Cián’s hand to calm him.

“I’ll tell the doctor she was uncooperative.”

Molly’s sharp intake of fearful breath raised his hackles. “You do that, and I’ll file a complaint with the nursing board and this hospital’s administrator. I tell you, Robert, I’m an easy-going guy unless someone messes with me or mine. Let’s not go there. She’s waiting for the sheriff’s office.”

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Happy Native American Heritage Month!

Book Two comes out in December.

Cooler weather, falling leaves…

Cooler weather, falling leaves, crackling fires, friends, family, and feel good books are what makes November memories so heartwarming.

It is with bittersweet feelings that I share this last O’Connor Trilogy with you. Cián is the youngest O’Connor and the last to find his true love. The Saga has taken us through introductions to the O’Connor’s in Her Sweet Complication-Liam and Jocelyn to Cián and Molly. While there will be love stories and family holiday gatherings in the future, there will be no more trilogies. Also, this trilogy links one future series and one already started. More about that later in books 2 and 3.

I hope you enjoy this last child of Sean and Siobhan O’Connor. Here is Book 1.

Book 1 In Pursuit of Molly- Cián O’Connor trilogy is coming Thanksgiving week, just in time for settling into those comforting stories in front of the fire. If you haven’t met them, it is time you did!

A Tantalizing Taste:

It was just so liberating to be lightly bound and following commands. She didn’t have to worry about what to do and what to say, whether she should be reciprocating in some sensual, provocative way that seemed to come naturally to some women, but which she had never understood.

Prior to this experience, sex had always been something awkward and slightly stilted. Like some kind of complicated dance that no-one had shown her the steps to and which she had no chance of following after the music started. So instead of relaxing she fretted and second guessed herself, wondering if she was doing the right thing but feeling like a failure regardless, until she was so stressed that the whole thing became an ordeal to endure until the man she was with got off and she lay there feeling disappointed and vaguely unfulfilled and wondering if that’s all there really was.

But not tonight. Tonight, something magical was happening. Tonight, she felt free; as if someone had waved away the burden of unrealistic expectation and replaced it with the permission to just feel. And boy was she feeling! Every touch, every kiss, every…thing seemed startlingly magnified. This was the closest thing to bliss that Charlotte had ever experienced and intuition was telling her that this time there was certainly more to come. Hopefully her! Yes, definitely her. It would be the first time. Well, not the first time. But the first time with a man. Oh goddesses! What if it didn’t happen. Would Jake be able to tell? What if she disappointed him anyway?

Suddenly Jake bit down on her nipple and the light bolt of pain wrenched her away from her thoughts before he laved at the small hurt and it bloomed into a tingling pleasure.

“You’re thinking so loudly I can hear you,” Jake growled. “Keep it up and I’ll be forced to spank you to take your mind off whatever is winding you up.”

Spank her? Charlottes pussy clenched at the thought and she felt her panties dampen some more.

Jake chuckled darkly against her breast. “I don’t think you find that idea too dreadful, do you sweet Charlotte. Would you like to feel my hand warming that pretty ass until it’s all hot and pink and branded with my palm?”

“No”, Charlotte panted. “I mean yes!” Her back arched as Jake bit down tenderly on her other nipple, taking away her ability of coherent thought. “Oh goddesses! I mean, were there two questions there? I can’t think…”

Charlotte could feel the laughter rumbling in Jake’s chest. “That was the idea. Don’t think! Just feel. You were doing such an excellent job of it until your brain kicked in.

A few words about Poppy:

Poppy Flynn was born in Buckinghamshire, UK and moved to Wales at eight years old with parents who wanted to live the ‘self-sufficiency’ lifestyle.

Today she still lives in rural Wales and is married with six children.

Poppy’s love of reading and writing stemmed from her parents’ encouragement and the fact that they didn’t have a television in the house.

“When you’re surrounded by fields, cows and sheep, no neighbours, no TV and the closest tiny village is four miles away, there’s a certain limit to your options, but with books your adventures and your horizons are endless.”
