January thoughts…

This blog is about books. HA HA. Okay, so no surprise there. I have had a love affair with books for as long as I can remember. I read early, encouraged by my book loving mother. I found that there was a whole world to be found, many worlds in fact, between the pages of a book. Now we have electronic books, and audio books, and I love a good story no matter how it is presented, but I will always have a soft spot for picking up a physical book and reading it.

As I sit here, in my pajama’s (don’t hate me), contemplating a new year, I think of the books I have written and those I have read. I have learned that writing even one book is not an easy feat, no matter how easy it might seem. I appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears that goes into every book more than ever. And it makes me love them even more intensely. I write romance but I read all genres. Well, nearly all. Sorry, horror is just not my thing…  but so many others are.

So, let me challenge you to try a new book, a new genre, a new author, today. You never know, you could be embarking on the most rewarding adventure of your life. Come back and tell me about your adventure, no matter how it turned out.

So let me start you off, my fellow romance lovers… I’ll try to continue sending you on forages into my chaotic mind.
