Hello!
I’m back home from RomCon 18 and it was an incredible experience. The hard work of the RomCon 18 staff to make every detail seamless and unique, was appreciated by every one who attended this year. I bonded and met so many who enjoy a good love story that I was exhausted and sad it was over. A big thanks to all!
The trip up and back was an experience all itself. We took our time, well, took extra time, to see the area and the historical sights coming and going to Richmond, VA. We, (hubby and daughter) only came from Texas this time so the trip was shorter. Civil War history, castles, horses (we went to Lexington, Kentucky home of my New Series, Safe and Secure, which you will be reintroduced to in the last of the O’Connor trilogies), plantations, art museums, and more filled our time before and after the event.
We ended up coming home through Alabama rather than Arkansasa and just missed the hurricane. So happy for a good end but the rain going into Texas from Shreveport was torrential.
I’m now ready to finish my first fall writing project. My last O’Connor’s Trilogy, Cian/Molly, is two books complete and soon in the editing process with Blushing.
The last book is in outline form, and you know what that means, the books go from Sweet with a little naughty to Call the Fire department. The last book of the trilogy sets has a surprising few turns and I hope you will like the end result. That doesn’t mean we might not find them later in special novellas or even appearing in a branch-off series, but for now, lets enjoy the young love of the last O’Connor sibling.

“I don’t wanna get up.” Her left hand reached out from under the warm blankets and slapped at the snooze button. Closing her eyes, she sighed and settled back into sleep. “Can I just go back to my dream?”
…all roads leading into the downtown core are slow and there are two major accidents on Michigan Avenue. Delays and cancellations at O’Hare International….
Again, her left hand thrust out from under the blankets and pressed the snooze button. No sooner had she settled back under the covers, the annoying beep-beep-beep of the backup clock sounded.
Red sighed and threw back the covers. A blast of cool air chilled her arms. There was only one way to shut off this alarm – get out of bed, walk across the room and smack the damn button.
