My Firelander temper was sparking nicely at that exact moment. Somehow, I resisted shooting a jet of flame at his backside. I stared straight at him in challenge. “Or what?” “I will not hesitate to discipline you, it is my duty as your mate.” “You what!”
I screeched unable to prevent it from bursting out. The rules were not so different from what I had lived under before, but this was new, and I didn’t like it one bit. As long as I didn’t draw notice my aunt had let me do as I wished.
“I will put this in terms you might understand.” My eyes were on his firm lips. “You try to roast me, and I will not hesitate to heat that delectable backside as a very displeased mate.”
“Ha!” I scoffed in his face, my iron-clad control malfunctioning. “I’d like to see you try.”
